Powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, Ella debuts a live, autonomous store where specialized AI agents manage business intelligence and edge robotics serve customers.
TAIPEI – June 2, 2026 -Sensory AI today publicly unveiled Ella, the first multi-agent Physical AI store operating in public commercial service. Developed in collaboration with Intel, Ella shifts Physical AI out of isolated industrial warehouses and directly into the public service economy.
The entire autonomous store runs locally at the edge of Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors. While advanced AI agents manage customer interaction, system health, and live business analytics, a separate, deterministic orchestration layer commands the physical robot serving the customer. Attendees visiting the joint Sensory AI and Intel showcase at Computex 2026 (Taipei World Trade Center, June 2–5) can interact with the store, place an order, and experience the ecosystem in real-time.

Unlike traditional automated kiosks, Ella relies on a sophisticated multi-agent architecture where three distinct AI agents run concurrently on a single system-on-chip (SoC):
● The Avatar Agent: Greets visitors and manages natural customer conversation.
● The Guardian Agent: Monitors continuous system health, diagnoses real-time faults, and reports metrics back to SensoryOS.
● The Ella Agent: Tracks store-level business data-including orders, pricing, and customer traffic patterns-to propose instant commercial optimizations.
Beneath these reasoning agents, a localized computer vision pipeline constantly evaluates the operational scene, monitoring customer engagement, queue dynamics, and floor safety. Crucially, the AI agents do not directly drive the physical machinery. Instead, SensoryAI’s – proprietary deterministic orchestrator, CrownD, handles path planning and commands the commercial equipment safely and reliably.
At the fleet level, SensoryOS aggregates structured telemetry across all deployed nodes to detect cross-store operational trends. Over-the-air system updates are generated via cloud learning, but every change requires explicit human approval before being deployed back to the
edge endpoints.
Operating multiple concurrent AI workloads alongside real-time robotic control requires exceptional local processing power. Ella maps its multi-agent reasoning, computer vision, and deterministic orchestration across the NPU, integrated Xe GPU, and CPU of a single Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processor, utilizing optimizations from Intel’s OpenVINO toolkit.
